Help!

My name is Kevin and I am a Legoholic.

I don't know what has come over me. I'm spending way too much on Lego! In
the last 2 months, I have spent over 4000$ on the little plastic bricks. I
have accumulated more parts than I can ever use. And forget about ever
sorting them even if I could live to be 150!

Boxes are piled in the basement, the bedroom and the living room. Sets are
displayed on shelves, the kitchen table, in the cupboards and in drawers!
Furniture is completely buried. We lost the dog under some boxes for a few
hours the other day.

Those darned holiday sales are to blame! This one is always better than the
first one. One store trying to beat the other store. 20, 30, 50% off!! When
will it all end??! Heeeeeeeeeeeeelllllppppppppp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You know, this IS a problem.  But it is one to which I am happy to say, "I'm
with you!"  When you start to notice that it has taken hold is when you
complete a series in your collection, then start buying extras.  Then you
branch out into other themes.  Then you buy extras of those.  Then you
realize how many parts you have and that you don't have enough bulk bricks,
so you start getting tubs & buckets.  After you begin to notice that you
could build a decent "MOC" then you start to sort and fill in by buying sets
that have "the really good parts".  Now you have a large bedroom sized room
FULL of LEGO.  And a LOT of money invested in a company that makes some
beautiful plastic.  Yes, occasionally you remember those eco-warnings about
plastic needing 10,000 years to decomplose in a landfill, but reason that
this only means your collection will still be usefull when you are 78.  What
I wonder is this, at what point will my habit become such a planetwide hobby
that they will have to start shipping people (and their LEGO) to other
worlds just to make room here on Earth for growing food (a secondary concern)?
Up to my, umm, kneecaps (in one room) in ABS bricks!
