Just saw this on eBay:

It's a modified lightsabre that actually glows! You can change the
color of the light in the base between red and white, and of course, you
can put any color sabre on it you want (even comes with a custom white
sabre).
He also shows some other cool uses for it, such as a flashlight or
micro-spaceship thruster. I really like the way he's kept it versatile,
just like a normal LEGO part.
He's starting the bids at $20, which is more than I can justify at the
moment, but I think it's very cool anyway. I'm not associated with the
seller in any way, but I do wish him well -- I'd like to see more cool
stuff like this.

| (...) I much prefer the designs of (URL) Rob Hendrix>. He's gotten them packed in to the point where the minifig and lightsaber look completely unmodified until you turn them on, and they run off of internal batteries so you don't need to hide any (...) (20 years ago, 13-Aug-04, to lugnet.parts.mod, FTX)
