Re: Apathy? (was: WAMALUG's GATS Layout was a huge success!)

Huh? This is about the strangest post I have ever seen. Looking at the last post about WAMALUG there are 15 replies (certainly some of those people aren't WAMALUG members. Sometimes people have alot going on and do not post right away. Further, (...) (26 years ago, 2-Mar-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.org.us, lugnet.org.us.wamalug)

I for one really enjoyed your setup. I especially enjoyed Dan's pics. However, did not post a response because: - I try not to do "me to" posts - Although I am slowly getting interested, I haven't yet gone over the edge and actually purchased a Lego (...)   Re: Apathy? (was: WAMALUG's GATS Layout was a huge success!)

Well, by now you know that people DO care. I personally have been following all the posts from your show and found the pictures quite enjoyable. However, I didn't have anything particularly interesting to say, so I didn't post anything. I've found (...) (26 years ago, 2-Mar-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.org.us, lugnet.org.us.wamalug)

(...) Generally frowned on as a "no-no" but, ME TOO! ^_^; I think Sproat said it best, you can only post "wow, looks great, wish I could do that" so many times per week. ^_^; (26 years ago, 2-Mar-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.org.us, lugnet.org.us.wamalug)

(...) Well, I'm not one of those who asked about DCC, but I think your show was great. I appreciate your posts, and I really enjoyed the pictures. Excellent job, people! The pix are great, thanks for sharing! I especially liked the little movies, that is the coolest. Your setup makes my measly little train (which I worked on all weekend) look pitiful. Keep sharing pictures with us, we really like them! (especially (...) (26 years ago, 2-Mar-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.org.us, lugnet.org.us.wamalug)

Re: Apathy? (was: WAMALUG's GATS Layout was a huge success!)

Actually, I had numerous questions about the DCC setup, but I saw in a post that some information was going to be posted about it, so I held my questions until it was posted, but here goes: How much labor (time) is required to convert a Lego Train (...) Hi Jeff, I must say, I couldn't check out the display earlier. I did now, only a little part (no time, sorry) and it looks very awesome.   Apathy? (was: WAMALUG's GATS Layout was a huge success!)

Why has there been such apathy towards Wamalug's train shows? In the past month, there have been a total of nine messages from non-members about our setups. There has been absolutly no discussion, no critiques, and very little praise. Do you all (...)
