I'm somewhat ready to go. I've been moving for the past week or so and have
had no time to devote to my the big model I'm attempting to build (2 gray
baseplates in size). I'm already thinking I'll probably be pulling an
all-nighter on Friday to try and finish it up. I'll bring it regardless.
I have my 5 zeppelin models ready to go (or will after I pull them out of
the boxes and re-assemble any damage from moving). I bought some smallish
screw hooks and also some self-adhesive hooks that I think might work
better. If anyone has any other hardware that you think will work please
bring. I'm going to try and remember to bring extra fishing wire for
hanging things (but if someone else could too "just in case" that would be
great).
As far as backgrounds go - I have the large pieces of fabric that I use for
my videos - one piece is light blue with clouds; the other is dark
blue/black with star patterns. I'll bring them to see if they would work.
I also have a huge shopping bag from LEGOLand that's about 2'x 3' and has
mini-figs on it (similar to my shirt) - this could probably be used to fill
up one of the glass panes. I had thought that it might be a good idea to
leave the door uncovered - that way folks could look into the display case
from that side to see any additional details that might not be visible from
the front.
Those are my ideas/thoughts for now. I'll let y'all know if I come up with
anything else.
