On the agenda for tonight is, of course, a discussion about the merits and
flaws of our current membership policy, and a discussion/vote about what to • do
with it in the future.  It is our hope that we can all reach a consensus
rather than have to take a vote, however.

I think Eric's wording here is excellent.  There is more to the discussion • than
just the Age part so I hope we don't get to hung up on it although that is
probably the part we will talk about the most.

In talking with people outside of the area it seems that people like the fact
that we open membership to people outside of New England.  Most of them also
say that maybe there should be a couple levels of membership.  The lower level
is an auxillary membership where the people don't have a say in club business.
Another level that is based on some quantifiable measures such as, attendance,
time contributed, and possibly (although I don't think we should) monitary
support.

Of course all this will be discussed tonight and while I was not planning on
bringing any MOC's I am feeling a bit better about things so maybe I will
through something in the car.

Can't wait to see you all tonight.

I sure hope we have some time for some MOC's....I plan on bringing over half
of the St. Lego Fire Department....five stations and about a dozen trucks.
