Other NELUG matters to discuss at our Meeting.

As a result of the recent discussions on LUGNET I would like to propose a
couple of other issues for discussion.
1. I think we should decide on what constitutes a voting member (After we have
resolved the Age rule under the current rules).
2. I think we need to rewrite the FAQ's on the NELUG site so they are as clear
as possible. (I am looking for assistance on this one ;-).
3. No matter what the vote on the age rule I think we should possibly vote on
what we should do if an underage member is caught drinking alcohol at a NELUG
meeting (Personally I think this should be a Zero Tolerance rule and dismissal
is in order).
4. We may want to reconsider how we discuss NELUG business. Some people in
other groups I have talked to have told me that they do not use LUGNET for even
minor ORG business and just for announcements. While I am not sure that is
necessary we might want to talk about it.
5. We might want to try and set policy for when something like this happens
again. Maybe knowone should respond publically until we have had a chance to
discuss the issue privately either at a meeting or via our newsgroup. (With
the exception of a post simply stating that we have seen the post and are
discussing it amoungst ourselves).
