I'm not arrogant enough to suggest that my opinion should matter to you, but I
am interested in hearing yours. You've discounted two positive suggestions,
both of which sounded reasonable to me -- I have been involved in LUG
organisation in the past and probably will be in the future too, if there are
potential reasons why these ideas are unsuitable then I am interested in
hearing them.

I have the dubious honour of having read every post in this thread too, if you
wade through the barbed fluff, then there is useful content in here.
