Well I took advantage of the 40% off at Going out of Business K-Marts. I
mostly cleaned out the Danvers K-mart. The main reason I am posting this is
because when I get time I will be putting most of these parts on my BrickLink
store but I thought some of the parts NELUG might want as a group.
These include
14 16x16 Green Baseplates
28 8x16 Green Baseplates
1 16x32 Grey Baseplate
As we have gone to making 2 sides of the layout offset by 16 studs I thought
they would be useful. I would be willing to "sell" them to the group at the
Bricklink average price minus at least 10%. So let me know what you think of
NELUG aquireing these parts, because I control NELUG finances and there are no
immediate needs for these parts within the group I am taking myself out of the
decision as to whether to buy them. If the group doesn't make a decision
within a couple of weeks I will just put them up in my store.
For those interested here is what I got.
14 3408 - Super Sport Coverage
1 7186 - Watto's Junk Yard
1 1352 - Explosion Studio
2 1354 - Dino Head Attack
3 1356 - Stunt Man Catapult
4 1357 - Cameraman
1 5821 - Research Glider
Pretty good hall seeing I passed on this at 30% a week ago and it was all still
there at 40% today. Now I need time to sort it out and figure out what I am
keeping :-).
There were a few things left Including the following if people want to make the
trip.
~8 3403 - Fans Grandstand with Scoreboard (even at 40% off this was still over
10 cents a part... Blech).
2 3406 - Blue Bus (With Blue Train windows available in bulk I didn't see the
Point).
1 7186 - Watto's Junk Yard (It had been opened so I didn't chance it.)
4 8000 - Pit Droid (Technic just ain't by bag baby.)
I think there were a couple other small sets as well like Jack Stone and
Bionicle but they didn't even register on my radar.
