  Re: Choose a Logo

Personally, I like the bridge logo better. (Sorry Kai!) (...) This is correct. In a program like Macromedia Fireworks (and I believe Adobe ImageReady, which is part of Photoshop now) you can slice an image--so that parts of it are compressed as GIF (...)   Re: Choose a Logo

(...) The bridge logo may be attractive on a web page... but I like the map/words logo because it will make a better embroidered logo when put on a shirt. Even then I would say use a blue state outline instead of solid blue!!! ++Lar (24 years ago, 3-Apr-01, to lugnet.org.us.michlug)

  Re: Choose a Logo

(...) Even though the map logo is simpler in appearance, I think it works better with the web page. I'm voting for the map logo. (...) Agreed... or a different letter / background color scheme. (24 years ago, 4-Apr-01, to lugnet.org.us.michlug)

  Re: Choose a Logo

To All, As was discussed last night, I love the bridge logo, but I think practically, the map logo is a simpler and more effective one. the bridge one can be the welcome mat to the webpage. Scott S. -- (24 years ago, 4-Apr-01, to lugnet.org.us.michlug)

To All, No, I don't want a flash welcome thing or anything like that. Just an alternative logo perhaps, like on the main index page, showing the bridge or something. That's all. Scott (24 years ago, 6-Apr-01, to lugnet.org.us.michlug)
