I feel like I am hogging the newsgroup :-)
Okay, my APC has made it to version MKIII.

Changes?
- Rebuilt to include less expensive (read not gray) parts on the inside and
grilles.
- Modified turret is stronger and also slightly less expensive.
- Reduced number of tiles on the top.
- Replaced some plates on side with bricks.
- Added two firing ports on each side.
This is pretty close to final. Next I may do variants with different turrets,
missile launcher etc. Stripped down version may be a bridge layer or a
recovery vehicle.
The new tank is the LT300a.

I am much happier with this than the first tank. It is somewhat based on the
design of the British scorpion. I do like the turret on the second tank a bit
more so I may be swapping major components around.
Future ideas. I need support vehicles. Osh-kosh makes some interesting 8
wheel off-road vehicles and LARGE main battle tank transporters. I thought I
had a lot of gray.. just not the right parts!
Anybody else have anything new to share?

| (...) Worry not, I am sure no one else feels that way. We are all just getting ready for GATS. (...) Also very cool. I like the shape of the turret, especially. So are you going to make a train car or two to transport these? (...) Sorry I haven't (...) (22 years ago, 15-Jun-02, to lugnet.org.us.michlug)
