I have to make a short video of a lego village which would feature the

A visit to www.efilmsinc.com leads me to believe this is for a commercial
project. Advertising, no less. If I were the modeler (no, I won't do it) I'd
want to know this up front, I'd want to be in the position of accepting or
rejecting the final product (the video) since you never know in what light
marketing types will present your work, and I'd want to be compensated fairly.

ALL good points. Charlie multiple posted (as opposed to cross posted) to
several different groups. I sent him a note but have received no reply. So
it's likely he's not actually reading these posts.

Given that they say on their site  that it's a brand building outfit I would
want some assurance that LEGO(r) was OK with whatever it was they were up
to, to avoid any unpleasant entanglements. Perhaps even a surety bond or a
letter on LEGO letterhead from someone in authority.

But he's not likely to work with me anyway, my rates would be significantly
higher than "free lunch".
