To All,
Silly me, I forgot to bring the tiles home, I will let Lynn do that
tomorrow. I think I made some pretty good progress on everything. Let's see,
i went to Lowe's tonight, and got some wood cut up into 2x3 sections for the
Shell Station, so I don't have Hurricane Scott come by everytime I move
them. I wanted to pick up some containers to have a lid and walls for it,
but I got them too wide, the biggest width seems to be 20". : ( So anyway,
I finished the second Octan tank, it is identical to the first one, with
some minor changes done on both of them. I decided to extend the walkway to
the other side of the tank, so that the workers can see the tracks now. I
also added a steering wheel (valve) and a console so they can turn on and
off the flow. I built two loading stations for the train cars, one for each
tank (Think two different kinds, say 87 octan and 93). I built a 2x18 or so
2 plate thick beam out past the track, and then a single 2x2 column going
into a 4x4 foundation. I then took those nifty ropes with the 1x1 cylinder
plate on each end, and am using those for hoses. I put a headlight on the
end, and then put a another nozzle with a rope on it, so it will be pretty
flexible, and can load fuel, even if they are not lined up exactly. I hope I
lined up the track correctly, if not, err.....
Oops, almost forgot. i need a stopper for theOctan train line. Did somebody
build enough of those, or do I need to? Any references if I need to?
I am also putting in a small office type of building for Octan personnel,
that should be done tomorrow morning no problem. I put it on a drieway plate
I have, so the Octan loading facility will be done. I will also rebuild the
bottom of my little office building also. All of my vehicles are now
stickered, I will not bother witht the track, I have a good count of
everything, and I will bring a ton of signs, minifigs, plates, regulators,
etc. I will also bring a stock 4561 again, and the My Own Train ones I
bought for the club, as well as all my other train stuff.
Anything else anyone might need will need to be asked soon, or forever hold
your...bricks. : ) Have a good night, I need to get a little sleep, or I
will crash out on the station.
