Hello everybody! I just wanted to say “Thanks” for all the nice comments from everybody on my clock tower. When I started building it, I wasn’t even building a clock tower, I only set out to build a tall, white skyscraper, and the sheer height and squareness naturally lent itself to a clock tower, so that’s what it became.

This was a weekend project that has now grown into something bigger. I have changed the bottom to have all white arches and I have constructed some mini vehicles (an MTA-style bus, a taxi and a Sean Kenney-inspired VW bus) to populate the street scene a little more. I will shoot some new pics very soon and update them at Brickshelf once I get a chance...

Thanks again!

Jonathan Eric Hunter

This is my latest LEGO architectural piece. It is a fictitious clock tower that is less than minifig scale. It is roughly 33 stories tall (four and a half feet) my tallest LEGO skyscraper yet. It was a lot of fun doing the detail on the ground level (...) (20 years ago, 25-Aug-04, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.org.us.lugola, FTX) !!
