Hi everyone,
Steve McDonough (club secretary) was not able to be at the March meeting, so
I wrote down the meeting minutes:

IndyLUG welcomes new AFOL's Paul Coombs and Eric Bell.  Total attendance was:

Steve Martin
Jeramy Spurgeon
Paul Coombs
Eric Bell
Brian Darrow
Chayme Higgins
David Gregory
John Kyle
Thomas Coleman
Leah Cardaci
Andrew Matlock & son
Brian Alano
Mark Peterson (who was about 4 hours late, BUT he took all the cement posts to
his house, and he wore a tie, so we'll forgive him)

Basic meeting agenda
--------------------
Shows for May 1
    - 2 choices: Mini 500 or Blocks & Bots
    - Decided on Mini 500 due to:
        • Driving distance
        • They pay $300
        • It's for 1 day instead of 2
        • Fewer people would commit to the Lafayette show

Club funds stand at about $400

Buying tables from Steve Martin
    - Club voted to buy Steve's tables
    - 8 tables @ $30 = $240

Jeramy is going to look into getting a bank account for the club

Meeting dates for next 2 months
    - April
        • 2nd Sunday of the month is Easter
        • We will meet the Saturday before Easter (April 10) at Brian Darrow's
house in Lebanon
    - May
        • 2nd Sunday of the month is Mothers' Day
        • The May meeting will be at the Mini 500

Vote to allow members from outside Indiana
    - Passed; anyone who can come to meetings, regardless of residency, can be a
member of IndyLUG
    - Constitution will be changed to reflect this new statute

Jeramy's wife has a hot body (don't ask)

The club approves Leah to conduct polls in the club for proposals and for data
that will be used in one of her class projects

Thomas' requests
    - His church is sending missionaries to Latin America.  They are asking for
donations of LEGO to be given to children there.
    - His church is having a lava-themed Vacation Bible School.  They could use
a LEGO volcano that would be displayed at the church building June 7-11.

We will store the club's tables in Chayme's garage
--------------------

Once again, thank you to Paul Coombs and Eric Bell for coming to the
meeting, and to Chayme for letting us use his garage for storage.  (The
unloading was SOOOOO easy!)
Also don't forget to remove any personal belongings that you might still
have in Steve Martin's barn.
In case anyone wants to have a MOC displayed at the Blocks & Bots in
Lafayette, but can't drive there that weekend, make sure to bring your MOC to
the April meeting.  David can pick it up there and take it up to Lafayette for
you.
