Okay, here's the scoop...
The La Crosse Train Show is March 18th and 19th. The GMLTC will arrive Friday
afternoon (17th) to set up and will stay in a hotel attached to the Convention
Center Friday and Saturday nights. We could fest on Friday night and hang
around
the layout during the day or in a hotel room too. Saturday night is a dinner
for
the show exhibitors (to which all GMLUGers would be welcome I would imagine).
Any time in between would be fair game, although folks from the GMLTC would
need
to man the layout during the day (not *all* at the same time, though).

There will be about 10 GMLTCers attending; if you want specifics about the
Hotel phone number, etc., I can get that info this Thurs (maybe J-1 has it off
hand?).
I know Tim has expressed interest as well as GMLTC/GMLUGer Paul Foster.
Perhaps others should chime in so as to "snowball" the event along;-)
In any event, the GMLTC *will* be there so even if a *GMLUG* event doesn't
happen, there will still be plenty of Maniacs there with whom to mingle;-)

| I heard there is going to be a meeting on 3/18 in Lacrosse, WI from Tim Courtney. Does anyone have anymore information on this? Like where, what time, who will be there, what will be done at the meeting, what hotel will anyone be staying at? Any (...) (25 years ago, 23-Feb-00, to lugnet.org.us.gmlug)
