Hey all, I am extremely happy to inform the Fans of Lego in the Tri-State Area that the two Lego Stores in the region are now open!

The Pallisades Mall on Rte. 87

and

The Paramus Park Mall on Rte 17

Both Stores are now open for for business!

The Pallisades Mall location had their Grand Opening just last Saturday.

The Paramus Park Mall location had their Grand Opening just today!

I work as one of the Team Leaders at the Paramus Park Location and I would be happy to see all of you there!

Ask for me, (Eric Sophie) and come buy some Lego!

Both Stores feature the Pick-a-Brick parts assortment. (please don’t ask to specify what parts are there, there is alot!) - Although I can tell you that the parts variety will rotate and new parts will be added.

$12.95 and $6.95 per cup. Small and Large.

The stores are really nice and have lots of sets to choose from. The stores also feature items not found anywhere else!

Come on Down!

Also, I am very gald to mention, (although preliminary) that I have been told that one of the hopes of the store is to become a hub for the community and GardenSLUG is more then welcome to either meet at the store or to hold meetings in the store!

Like I said, this is a new store and we must get into the flow of daily operations before anything like this can occur.

From what I have been told, The hope is that we can meet at the store and hold meetings. Again, as time goes on, I can make more details available.

For now, come down to the store, check stuff out and have fun!

It is also my understanding and my hope that we can even get a small part of the store window to display our creations!

Sorry for being redundant, but I just gotta say again this is the hope, and when appropriate, I’ll pass the info along.

I was so glad to be told that part of the idea for the store is to help not only embrace the community but help to bolster the community with new people and new excitment.

We as fans can play a part of this.

I just can’t believe how cool the job is! Can you believe little ol’ me is now getting paid by Lego! Whoooo Hoooo!

If you come to the Paramus Park Location, it is near the Garden State Parkway Exit (Rte 17 North). I’ll be there Friday, Saturday and I’m sure most of Next week, my sheduale is not set yet.

Not the one on Rte 17 and Rte 4, that is the Westfield Mall, and its also known as the Garden State Plaza.

Ok, well I hope to see you all there and I would be happy to have us in time display our models in a small part of the window as well as hold meetings in or around the store when the time is right!

P.S. I spent a day working at the Pallisades Mall Lego Store and I got to meet some AFoL! You know who you are!

Thank you!

Play on!

(snipped) Finally! I can't wait to stop by and spend some money. Also, congrats on the job. I wish Lego would open up a store here in the five boroughs, especially Manhattan or in the Staten Island Mall. I plan on going this Saturday, so I hope to (...) I just went to the one in my county, the Palisades Lego store today (11/14/2003). :-) I felt like a 5 yr old in a candy store. Didn't buy anything from that store yet, it was only for reconaissance. ;-) (21 years ago, 15-Nov-03, to lugnet.org.us.gardenslug, lugnet.loc.us.nj, lugnet.general, FTX)

Too cool. Hope we get a Lego outlet 'round here someday, sounds like it's gonna be a blast. Congrats on your position! Take care, Soren (URL) (21 years ago, 15-Nov-03, to lugnet.org.us.gardenslug, lugnet.loc.us.nj, lugnet.general, FTX)
