Hello all.  :-)

Had a great time at the meeting... hope you all did too.

Here are the pictures I took of the MOC's that showed up and also the
group shot.

Hope we can manage to get together again soon.

I'd like to thank Chris Weeks for hosting, and Chris Dee for stopping
by, visiting from the UK!  :-)  And of course everyone else for showing
up.

Hi all,

GardenSLUG met today at my place.  It was fun.  We showed off MOCs, we • chatted,
we all took a baggie with the same parts and built doohickies, we • chatted, and
we traded some stuff.  Chris Dee was with us from the UK and New • Jersians: Andy
Lynch, Lindsay Braun, Bianca Nebab, and Jenny Johnson, joined me.

You can see my first crack at pictures at
http://www.bricktopia.com/GardenSLUG/Jan02/

The first few pictures are MOCs brought by Andy, Jenny, Lindsay, and • Bianca.
Then follow many pictures of the doohickies we made from the same • small
assortment.  At the end, there is a picture of Andy that I'll try to • lighten
later -- I knew it didn't work out at the time but I didn't think it • was that
bad (sorry, Andy!) and then a picture that I took after everyone left • of the
doohicky exercise assortment.  Andy took pictures too, so hopefully • we'll see
those pretty soon.

I'd be interested in discussion about how to make the assortment • better.  I
think more pieces in more multiples is easy, but I'd rather keep it • fairly
small.  What about a smaller color set?

Many people did not show up.  Hopefully we can have another in a • reasonable
time frame and get a larger turn-out.  Who's interested?  When?  What • should we
do differently?  At the end of the evening, we were talking about • getting a
game of Brickwars together...who's interested?

Chris
