Hey all,
I want to convice my mom to buy cable or DSL since I'm going to be living at
home for a year.  What ISP do you use to connect to the internet?  How much do
you pay?  What download/upload speeds do you get?  Are you happy with the
service?

We use Adelphia Cable here. If it's available in your area, I recommend it. Upload is only about 128k, but download is incredibly fast. I average around 2.5Mbit and have seen it go up as high as 4Mbit. And I usually leave it downloading 24/7. Troy (...) (22 years ago, 26-Apr-03, to lugnet.loc.us.oh.cle, lugnet.org.us.bloc)

(...) I've got DSL. Apk.net is my ISP, SBC is the provider. 768/128 download/upload. I'm very happy with the service, and I very infrequently have downtime. $50 a month.
