That's cute.  Is that fairground train animated?

Yes. Each car has something animated on it and the ferris wheel spins. We
call it the "Goofy Train".

There is a very fine line between
"hobby" and "mental illness".

I can see a train motor every other car, but I presume the red wheels then are
BBB wheels, and the feature drive is taken from the axle?  I've got a piggy-back
train that gets its drive from half-bushes with minifig car tyres, suspended
between the wheel sets of a bogey.  The bogey pivots about a vertical axle
drive.  Is the ferris wheel a similar arrangement?

I'd love to see more pictures of this train.  I've tried to do an animated
dragon, but it can't get enough power from rolling wheels and a technic motor
slaved from the train motor is similarly weak.  I think my only option is a
battery box and a separate motor.
