Dear BayLUG/BayLTC members and friends,
This is not an April Fool's joke!
As you may know the club is building some modules that
represent the San Francisco waterfront. The area covers
from PacBell Park, Pier 39, and Fisherman's Wharf around to
the Cliff House. See the LEGO SF Waterfront layout concept,
in JPG (120kb)on Bricklink.com, at:
http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=39012
Unfortunately, there is no way Russell, Ross, myself
and a few others can possibly build all this stuff in a
reasonable time. There are at least 40 unbuilt items on the
list. The minimum time it has taken me to build an
item seems to be about a month, given everything else
we do. As summer comes, available build time will likely
decrease.
So, WE NEED BUILDERS! Hopefully that's YOU please!
You'll see much of the already-built stuff at the next two
meetings for ideas and inspiration! But you do not have to
be a BayLTC member to build anything! So please ask if you
have any questions!
Some of the items are small, and quick to build like the
otter floats, others are/can be huge, like PacBell Park, any
tall building, or the Bridges with lots in between. Please
select whatever you want, or make up your own! There is NO
LIMIT to how many items you can make/create! Whatever you
decide to craft, please complete it/them by the
Thanksgiving GATS Show! Also, please let us know what you
want to build.

plan to build something. We are happy to provide them!
