| (...) Every time I do a show I wish I had some duct tape and dared to use it on unmonitored children. This last show in Maple Valley we had a more serious problem with a child, though. Unfortunately, I wasn't thinking fast enough to prevent him from (...) (27 years ago, 26-Oct-99, to lugnet.org.us, lugnet.general)

| (...) Yeah, I'm tempted to agree. If we want to set up a meeting, we should have a specific purpose to the meeting other than just to say "hey, we're here!" Perhaps if we want to set up a grandiose-type event and want their input, we could get a (...) | Good advice. One of the kids, when asked about why he persisted in touching stuff when I had asked him not to replied: "Well, my dad is very important around here so it's OK" Presumably he was some professor of education... you connect the dots. :-) (...) Then maybe it's time to fix that, neh? :-, I had no idea what "Bay Area" was until I came to the States...then I discovered it referred to the San Francisco Bay area...then I discovered it really depended upon which bay you were closest to. I think very few AFOLs will have any problem with a 'pay and wait' policy, because we're generally quite used to that in the second hand market. James (...) | This is a listing of a number of things that happened at Mindfest both related to the NELUG table and in general. 1. There were quite a few TLG reps on hand and many of us had a chance to chat with them. I will relate the few experiances I had and (...)
