Hi Kevin, I'm curious as to what the actually record was that you guys set in
Seattle?

Looks like the gang is having fun down there!!  I thought I saw Dean

Unbelievable setup!!  Was that Dean I saw with a camcorder?  I
couldn't tell for sure, but I hope so.  That's definitely a video I
want to borrow for an evening or two!!

Here are links to pics by David Schilling where are directly
VLC-related: (all the otehrs are worth looking at too!)

Here's a good pic of Dean:

Dean and I set up about 1/4 of this monorail track layout:

(My Victorian house is about halfway up the right hand edge of the pic)

I'm in this one (beside the guy beside the guy with the video camera)...
doing crowd control in the far corner of the setup during teh record
run.

Dean's in this one, towards the right:

Oh, and so am I, just behnd the Empire State building!

And that's me walking around in the river on the left (rescuing crashed
monorail trains)

This is the middle of the attempted longest train (the 130 or so car
train which was just toooo long)... Dean's blue 4565 engine is 4 cars
back in this shot:

Later in the train came a load of hopper cars, including Dean's and
mine:

(I was on one of the throttles for the eventual seventysomething car
record train)

Here's Dean wielding his viseocam

More later, we had a WONDERFUL time but I have a horrible stiff neck and
can't type much.

Kevin
