> Ugh... "Stupidity Leak"
Yes, truly sad, isn't it? I know that many of these people are
Christians, and as a Christian myself, I'm disgusted by this type of
hypocritical attitude.
These same people will happily read their children any number of fairy
tales, which include witches, goblins, wizards, black magic, ghosts,
trolls, etc. They also probably own and watch Disney videos of the
same. They probably have some Tolkien on their bookshelves, as well
as "The Chronicles of Narnia" (by C. S. Lewis, who by the way, was
also a Christian). Of course, cartoon violence and video game carnage
is completely fine, not to mention nearly-soft-core music videos.
And to top it all off, most of these people haven't read more than a
few pages of any of the books.
On behalf of thinking Christians everywhere, let me apologize for
those that are under the mistaken notion that being a Christian means
turning off your brain at the front door of the church. We're all
works in progress, and God isn't finished with any of us yet.
