What is FUT?

Follow Up To.  ie, when you reply to a message in a newsgroup (called a
followup article) you should only FUT a specific newsgroup instead of all • of
the crossposted original messages.

Thank you. I've asked this many times on numerous groups

For example here:
http://news.lugnet.com/trains/org/?n=1350
just a few days ago

and no one replies.

and it in fact has not one but *three* replies:

http://news.lugnet.com/trains/org/?n=1351
http://news.lugnet.com/trains/org/?n=1353
http://news.lugnet.com/trains/org/?n=1354

Did you read them?

This is also answered in the acronym FAQ that Shiri keeps.

Hope that helps.

Now, Now Lar... Don't be too hard on Iain...he has other things on his
mind....Lego, Rollercoastering, Transit, and Automation.  With all those
things on your mind, do you think you have time to read let alone think
about things....

I think you are right, you posted a very humorous post last time
Iain asked that, and filled it with all sorts of abreviation...

anyways....as always FAQ means Frequently Asked Questions.

Also, the Acronym FAQ is hard to find unless you know where to look. That's true of just about all of LUGNET's (...) (23 years ago, 7-Apr-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
