So I'm at my big bro's last night for the fam. get-together with mom and all...
And I'm pening my presents--along with shirts, socks and pants, I get
Railway Express from mom.
Railway Express.
Forgetting what Chris would say about that, I know my mom paid regular price
over at TRU for it.
Didn't want to tell her that the three I currently own I got at Sears
Clearance, for around 90-100ish a piece.
Then there was 'Be Like Derek' Racers set--no, not the one from Costco which
has the 3-in-one for 40 dollars, just the big one with the track--dunno what
that is retail but I'm sure it's lots more than the Costco bargain.
<sigh>
Mom pays way too much money for Christmas *every year*!
Oh well, I acted all excited, because, really I am--another train motor and
lots o' pieces for the upcoming train show! Charleen wanted to build
something so she grabbed the two car pack out of railway express and started
putting them together. Boy I love that woman!
My sister gave me the LEGO Racers technic car 9forget set number right now)
but was fun.
So, this is the most LEGO sets I received for Christmas (2 sets! and the
season ain't done yet :) ) since I was, like, 14!
Beyond that, to everyone, have a happy, joyous and safe holiday season!
(and build something out of LEGO with someone close to you--is much fun!)
