The December 22nd, 2002 Sunday edition of the Toronto Star features a Lego
brick mosaic of the paper's banner, in place of the normal banner on the top
of the front page. It also includes a detailed article about rtlToronto and
Lego enthusiasts in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), as well as photos of an
rtlToronto member's creations (Dave Koudys).

I got the printed edition... the story is awesome.
I must say I was pretty startled when I saw the reporters at the Swiss Chalet.
Had I known they were coming, I might have tried extra hard to bring something
"bigger".

I like the picture of Dave with his Firehall, and the front page mosaic with
Jeff VW making the cover.

See the front page and story of how it was built here:

The Toronto Star is Canada's largest daily newspaper, with a paid circlation
of 450,000 copies on Sundays.

     Incredible,

Great work and nice networking!

You guys really stayed true to the brick and
gave a good amount of respect to the community.

This’ll really be a great promotional tool for recruiting
future enlistees in to our ‘army’…I mean group…

Its funny, but I talked to a few of my co-workers at TRU.  I brought my
book of pictures from the Train events there in the breakroom, and a lot
of them were "WOWWED".  One of the girls said that she had a substantial
LEGO collection herself.

I went to a Christmas Party Saturday night, and I met someone that probably
has more than LEGO than I do.  That's scary!!  I'm almost to the point of
putting an ad in the paper and starting my own local club here in Niagara.
I'm sure I'd get at least 2 people!!! :)
