well last night I made efforts not use the computer all evening.  I wasn't
banning myself from it, just wanted to take a break from it....the reasons
are personal and don't really need to be mentioned...

so I turned to some of the stuff I had gotten lately.  Like the shuttle
Transcon 2 set I had just recently acquired.  That is real fun.  I built the
plane, and got out the LOM Solar Explorer, and started to work on a
"small" project I had in mind ever since I saw it.

Basically, I want to make it closer to the Launch Command sets, but make
it unique enough to make a Mission to Mars believable for the "town" of
mine.  Still working on the overall shape of the spacecraft, but it should
be interesting.  I want this to be sort of a surprise when it gets "displayed"
so I won't take ANY pics until it is finished.

I also was working a bit on another project that I might have mentioned
earlier and that is the dairy processing center and store.  This morning,
I put in the "foundation" to the center.  Maybe the beginning of next
week or at the end, I'll put the floor in, and start planning the
construction of the walls of the building.

Interesting items will be the proposed inclusion of 2 micromotors...
1 for a windmill fan, and the other for a powered conveyor belt.  It will
or should have a few lights.  Power to the system will likely be a
"proprietary" control device....most likely a spare Track Controller.

I have no pics of the first "phase" of the construction, because only
the initial foundation is laid, it isn't that interesting pictorally
(yet).  I also put together a small "pasturization tank" that will be
critical to operation of the dairy processing center (the rear section
of the building).  The building will have two warehouse doors, one for
Receiving (where the milk truck will transfer the milk to the pasturization
tank), and Shipping (where the milk or other dairy, which will be palletized,
will be shipped from).

This dairy "project" will be one of the new items to be debuted for
Train 4.  I think it will be a stretch to put aquire enough lego resourses
to design and build the  "guarded community"  I want to build (maybe not
for Train 4) but I will try.

Anyways, I look forward to completing these so I can add them to my
brickshelf folders, but who knows what will happen in the near future.
I was supposed to get activated for 6 months starting this April, but
in late February they cancelled the activation.   I am not guaranteed
that I won't be activated for a time later on....(and no I won't
give up serving part time in the military...)  :)

Thanks,

Ben
