well i tried connecting an adapter that i had at home to the battery tabs of
the RCX (1.5) so that i didn't need to use batteries. i guess the wires
touched somehow :(
i used a 9v, 300mA adapter so i don't think it got fried... at least i hope
not!

| (...) You mean you touched the two wires that come out of the adapter together? This should not have damaged your RCX. Sounds like you did fry the adapter. Did you try the RCX with batteries? If you did fry the adapter, Active Surplus has an (...) (23 years ago, 18-Feb-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
