I bought the Maverick Storm at Zellers....
I thought $5.00 plus tax was a bit excessive for a 38 piece set, without a
full-size mini-fig....
but the head is cool....nice hood under the helmet.
What I didn't care for....
the one piece for racer's body, and steering wheel... :(
what I did like were stylized body parts for the vehicle....nice angles, and
pretty too... and colourfull too!!!
What really pushed me to buying this set was the green rims .... tres chic!!!
and when I opened it up, there were 2 more "slicky" tires, ( :) ), as a
bonus.....
that is great..... a good all around parts pack if I say so myself...
sure you ain't going to build anything spectacular with the pieces, but
a few good pieces including 2 2X4 dark grey plates.
