Hello Space People!
After the new Benny Spaceship came out for LM2, I thought I could build a 918
using the BUWP (Big Ugly Wing Piece)
So I tried. At first, I just added 3 x 6 wing plates to the front and back, and
added other wing plates on top to get the required depth for the minifig inside
the cabin.
Last week it hit me--many spaccers are doing the 'DWD' (double wing deck) thing,
so I tried to build another modified 918 using the BUWP and DWD

I've included all my interations of the 918 through the years (okay, one from a
decade ago and 2 from this year)
As we got a Cricut cutter for Christmas, I've created stencils for the registry
#, and, following my favourite sci-fi series of all time, labelled my subsequent
builds from the original 918 as A, B and C. The font I used--I asked elsewhere
and the response was Microgramma--that works well.
Having fun with the BUWP--i'm going to get a few more sets and try some other
ideas.
