Hey all,

Has anyone got any documentation or dimensions on what a standard LEGO shipping
container is, for "Town" scale?  Are they like 8x4 or something like that?  How
high?  Do they have any kind of standardized interlock for gripping by port
cranes?

I have a project that I want to tackle that I think would be awesome, but to
prototype it up I need to build some shipping containers.

Thanks!

-Iain

The new standard is a 6x10 studs footprint and makes extensive use of the (URL) 1x6x5 panel element>. If you check out the (URL) Container Stacker Set> pics on BL you get a pretty good look at how they are put together. (16 years ago, 27-Nov-08, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, FTX)
