This is a quick 1.5 meg avi video of the Bock transfer device.

1 human hand for the test.

What would happen if the handle is pressed by accident by some robot or the wall
when its not lined up with a block transfer interface?

Vitali

i made the "handle" part wider then a T.O. width; so that only something
to the "right" of the block depositor will have a flat enuff surface to
"depress" the block, ~THEN~

I made the depositor part "off set" so that it has to be in a T.O.
otherwise, then handle will not be reached but a wall or random bot part.

this system seems to work fairly well, EXCEPT when approaching from the
left.  So, I am working on software and a 'whisker" for the left side to
make sure the conditions are met.

Chris.

(...) Sounds pretty fool proof, looks very impressive how you don't need a motor or anything. Vitali (19 years ago, 22-Feb-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
