Calum,
I got an e-mail and someone asked if the rope was 3", cause the web said
1/4' rope width.
HUH?
so I look, and sure enuff, it says this:

shops and some construction supply stores. You can purchase a
length from Chris Magno for $2. The length of the rope will be
