An idea forming in the mind many years ago was to take the pneumatic cylinders and actually make a 'steam' engine. Inspired by Trevyn a few years back at hte hobby show, when he showed up with a pneumatic engine that ran on the duplo tracks, I (...) So I takes the non-functioning 002 motor pack to work today (for no real reason-just for inspiration, basically...) and whilst talking a user through how to take off the caps lock key, I start trying to *carefully* remove the plastic shell and (...) (...) You might consider using the LEGO magnet bricks (URL). They've got a good mass to them, and they're two studs wide.
