Well all, I have to say I am very disappointed with the Lego store in St.
Jacobs.
They had hardly any of the service packs they had when I was there last year.
As a matter of fact all the packs and boxes you guys wanted me to pick up were
not there.
There was one exception. The curved road plates were there and I picked them
up. Jude did you request a brick key chain? If you didn't I will take it for
sure.
I had the cashier tied up for about 10 minutes with all the part numbers you
gave me as she checked the inventory. Not one in stock. Some were not even in
her inventory list at all.
I asked why and the explanation was that all the service packs they had came
from Lego Canada....which is now Shop@Home in the US. They are not even going
to be able to stock them now.
It is a shame....I am a web developer and use e-bay to purchase things, but I
have to tell ya, I like to shop in a store and touch things. Stores are best
for those wonderful impulse buys. Especially when they are in another town.
It seemed that their set selection had been reduced as well. Too bad.
Wish it was good news.

| (...) Oh well that's OK. Thanks for the effort and picking up the road plate. At least it is better than what I got in garage sales... (24 years ago, 15-May-01, to lugnet.org.ca.parlugment)
