i too was fortunate to experience my first lego/train show at railfair 27 held in ottawa this past weekend - an experience that needs to be repeated more than once a year. the group worked well together, orchestrating the layout with smooth (...) (20 years ago, 20-Oct-04, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.town, lugnet.org.ca.parlugment, FTX) !!

(...) With Matt's roller coaster at BrickFest PDX, IIRC, a "successful trip" was counted if the car didn't come off the tracks. Minifigs being ejected did not count against the "success" metrics. Two new flower mosaics.... (2 URLs) Well, okay, the ParLUGment one isn't really new since it's been built for a few months and was actually on display at Brickfest. A few times I did play around with some gears, I never seemed to be able to get them to line up the way I wanted them to. Well apparently (as my son (...)
