i too was fortunate to experience my first lego/train show at railfair 27 held in ottawa this past weekend - an experience that needs to be repeated more than once a year. the group worked well together, orchestrating the layout with smooth (...) (20 years ago, 20-Oct-04, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.town, lugnet.org.ca.parlugment, FTX) !!

(...) With Matt's roller coaster at BrickFest PDX, IIRC, a "successful trip" was counted if the car didn't come off the tracks. Minifigs being ejected did not count against the "success" metrics. No restraining bars in the many attractions, no security fences around some moving objects that could hurt the dumber minifigs who would (...)
