There are definitely rare discs, both for the slizers, and for the
roboriders.
I don't have any bookmarks handy, but there are some webpages out there
which list all the discs available, their relative rarity, and even have
pages where people are willing to swap their discs.
IIRC, the 7-dot discs are the rarest.
