  New adventurer sets

Hi All, Just bought same of the cheap impulse sets and noticed that BigW had two of the new small adventurer sets 5903 and 5904. (...) Well, you'd love it where I work...It's a subsiduary of an Israeli company and we have quite a few 'visitors' from Israel, as well as a lot who have transferred over here. And for the next bit of good news...they have offices in the US [not (...) (24 years ago, 12-Jul-00, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.org.au)

  Typical Target!!

Beat this. Our local target store not only has been trying to sell the lego 2000 catalogue (No.1) for 50 cents but has increased the price to 54 cents (incl. GST). Mark H. (24 years ago, 12-Jul-00, to lugnet.org.au)

(...) Well - not exactly... More like: 1) Israel - coz that's where I was born and raised and I miss everything and everyone there 2) Iowa - coz that's where the guy I love lives <sigh> And possibly 3) Oz - coz you're making me feel at home. (but (...) (24 years ago, 12-Jul-00, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.org.au)

RE: So market posts are...? (was: Re: WANTED TO BUY)

(...) Where? My guesses... 1) Australia, as it's a nice country with friendly people 2) USA, the only place LEGO isn't overpriced, and also the only place with LD [well, in the only region with it, anyway.] 3) Denmark, the home of the brick [and all (...) (...) That's what I thought... is that clear enough? (...) Thanks! Uh-oh... don't want to make a home in Oz too, then I'll be craving to be at 3 places at once!... ugh :-) -Shiri (24 years ago, 12-Jul-00, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.org.au)

Re: So market posts are...? (was: Re: WANTED TO BUY)

(...) That was my understanding, market type posts in org.au only, and cross- posting OTHER non market posts to loc.au to catch the Italians. I think as a group we define "local shop X has set Y for $Z" as an acceptable post for loc.au but (...) (24 years ago, 12-Jul-00, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.org.au)

So market posts are...? (was: Re: WANTED TO BUY)

(.market.b-s-t removed from post) Hi Geoffrey and everyone, Don't get me wrong here - I don't want to butt in or anything; just wondering about a few things. I thought the purpose of .org.au was to welcome b-s-t posts that .loc.au doesn't. I can't (...) (24 years ago, 12-Jul-00, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.org.au)
