Sounds like bureaucracy to me ... "Why should we give them that if they
aren't going to use it?" kind of attitude.
Would it absolutely kill their internet servers to give you some properly
threaded news posting access?
One other thing I should probably mention is that you can sort of include
message headers yourself, in the body of your text - it does depend, though,
on the receiving end being able to sort them out and treat them as something
it needs to sort its news out with ...
I think it would be a bit of work, too - I'm not sure how you'd work it,
although I am pretty sure they should be the first line or lines of text in
your message body.
