Good morning. Today's topic is going to be politics! But not the normal
politics.
I would like to discuss the current economic climate on the LEGO sales.
LEGO is producing at over 100%, and their sales are through the roof! (aka: no
major deals at the stores)
I think this is due to the 'play effect' for the kids! The more the economy
takes a dive the more LEGO sales will increase.
I am not sure opening other LEGO stores is a great idea (personal opinion) due
to the market going up and down and the fixed major costs of having a LEGO store
in place! Overexpansion is a killer (look at our store! We overexpanded and
needed more and more capital to keep up the volumes). We lived, but it was a
very hard struggle! And the mall rent, OUCH!
So keep it coming Dem's! The more they mess the more LEGO is sold!

| Good night, what a day! Packed and shipped over 40 orders! And they are still coming in! I was hoping to build at the museum today, but I never even made it over! Oh well...tomorrow is another day!
