Inspired by Shaun Sullivan's fantastic BR52 model I have managed to build a
model of the same locomotive myself.
Compared to Shaun's model mine is not intended to run over curved tracks. It
is only a model for display but the pistons are working alright on straight
tracks. In this way I think it is much easier to make the model look more
realistic.
The model shall have 4 pieces of the flexible hose 73590B bent in different
ways. I have only included the end pieces and coloured them in contrasting
colours. They are of course all black on the real model. On both sides of
the cabin are number plates (tile 1x2, piece 3069) marked with HC514 but I
didn't found this piece in Ldraw.
This is my first posting to Lugnet. Just a few word about myself. I have
been doing models in Lego form more than 20 years as an adult. I had an
intense period when the Lego Technic program was introduced in the late
seventies culminating in a MOC of the Eiffel Tower. Now thanks to Internet,
Ldraw and Lugnet the hobby has come to a new life again.
