For people keeping score, I've changed jobs exactly twice in my
professional career. It seems like more, but it isn't. I joined IBM, was
there for 12 years, then joined Cambridge Technology Partners and was
there for 4.5 years.
All the recent churn is name changes and acquisitions. I joined Novera
Software, Inc in mid June 1999. It got bought by a company named TSI.
TSI decided to change its name to Mercator (after the flagship product,
which truly is a neat product) in Jan of this year. All the same
company, technically.
