Not really sure where to post this link... this site has some
fascinating/horrifying satellite images before/after the Tsunami struck.
These are satellite images, so what you are seeing is the changed landscape...
it does not show people, just land, buildings and water

BTW for those of you that are frequent travelers, United has set up a program to
let you donate your miles to charity for the relief effort, including the
American Red Cross and 5 others. I have sent notes to some of the other airlines
where I have miles, encouraging them to do likewise.
