Woohoo! I figured it out... Of course it requires me to dynamically
re-format the javascript code depending on what browser you're using (and
it'll ONLY work for MSIE and NN). But, it works. I think. I've tested it on
Netscape 4.05, and MSIE 5.0... I assume it'll work with higher versions of
Netscape, shame on me, but I don't really know for certain where it will and
won't work. According to the Dynamic HTML book (O'Reilly of course), it'll
work for MSIE 4 and Netscape 4 (their respective form versions)... I don't
know about lower... If you wanna test out the test forms:
For MSIE:
http://www.suave.net/~dave/test_dynamic_lists_msie.html
For Netscape:
http://www.suave.net/~dave/test_dynamic_lists_ns.html
Basically all they do is modify the option list for the subtheme select list
based on whatever is selected in the theme select list, and triggered by
onchange.
Anyway, maybe sometime this week I'll put this into the lego geek code
generator (well... that is, I'll WRITE it) and it'll actually be somewhat
useful... maybe... we'll see :)
