Do a seach in "News" for your name as it appears on your posts. The
responses it spits back will be all the posts that contain your name. The
first repsonses should be the ones originated by you. Just go through the
responses and count your posts.
To search a particular news group, go to that group and then type in your
search. For example, go to lugnet.off-topic.debate. When you type in a
search for News, it should appear "News (debate)" and it will search only in
that group. Again, manually count the posts!
Interestingly, when searching for "Larry Pieniazek" in "News", the total
responses given was "about 12000". WOW!
