    Kaadu = Hindi 'pumpkin' —Erik Olson
   I just found in a Hindi/Urdu phrasebook that the word for pumpkin is kaddu. It doesn't sound quite like kaa-doo with a long a, but it makes me wonder if Lucas is having a joke. Kaadus are orange, aren't they? Pumpkin riders defeating a (...) (24 years ago, 25-Oct-00, to lugnet.off-topic.fun, lugnet.off-topic.pun)

   Footnote: My Hindi-speaking friends tell me that kaddu is used as a derogatory term like 'dummy'. Just think of it: "You pumpkin-for-brains! You stinky hollow gourd with seeds rattling inside!"
