Oh, yuck. That's disgusting. I think it was based on one recurring
joke--cat eating. The fact that the
cat was named "Lucky" only added to the joke.

That was the acronym, yes...I used to do a great
ALF voice impression, annoying as Hades heck.
By the way, the actor who played Willy Tanner
on ALF is in the new "A Midsummer Night's Dream"
movie with Calista Flockheart--and it's a pretty bad
movie, with occasional bright moments. Willy is
OK, though.
