    caching NNTP server —Mike Stanley
    Ok, I'm trying to find out more about this sort of thing while I'm at work and not having much luck. If anyone can point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it.    (...) Yeah, I found DNEWS pretty quickly. Kinda pricey, though, at least with respect to how I would want to be using it (allowing me and my wife and maybe a couple others to read news on my Linux box).
