Re: "Lego tries for girls' block vote"

(...) Hence the "life on Mars" being fitting! It's a male dominated world, or so we are told (I have my doubts about that... I know who really gets things done, but I digress), hence it is "Mars" where all the women are living now, regardless of (...)   You Should Avoid Cliches Like the Plague

From a mailing list I'm on You Should Avoid Cliches Like the Plague Although part and parcel of the warp and weft of the language of the man on the Clapham omnibus, clichés should be conspicuous by their absence. Why not start a cult where you need to ingest a part to be accepted? We could g for a 1x1 round plate for the LUGNET members and a 2x4 brick for the newcomers. This would hopefully encourage people to join LUGNET ? (Or maybe it would keep newcomers (...) (22 years ago, 5-Feb-03, to lugnet.general, lugnet.off-topic.fun)

  Re: Worst LEGO experience

(...) LOL, Aha… that’s sooooo Funny. And I thought I was the only one with ABS in my system. We should start a Support-Group! Our slogan will be: “We are ‘one’ with the brick!” It’s nice to know I'm not alone… Y’guys are the greatest!!! (...) (22 years ago, 3-Feb-03, to lugnet.general, lugnet.off-topic.fun)

  Re: Worst LEGO experience

(...) This raises an interesting question: is ABS attacked by the stomach acid? If true... then LEGO is biodegradable after all! :-O Pedro (22 years ago, 3-Feb-03, to lugnet.general, lugnet.off-topic.fun)

  Re: Worst LEGO experience

(...) Accident, no doubt. But if you ask *how* it happened, I can't possibly say :-S (...) Yes, that's right. (...) Nose! I was stuck with it inside my nose for a few minutes, even after blowing hard to get it out. In the end I think my father used (...)   Re: Worst LEGO experience

(...) I have this awful habit of playing with Lego antennea, castle spears, and the like between my teeth (much like someone sucking on a toothpick). I normally only do this while working with Lego (and never actually chew in such a way as to damage (...) (22 years ago, 3-Feb-03, to lugnet.general, lugnet.off-topic.fun)

  Re: Worst LEGO experience

(...) Was it an accident or did someone dare you? :-) You inhaled it? By your mouth? It's a luck it wasn't a regular 1x1 plate, thoses little corners would have been rough! Terry (22 years ago, 3-Feb-03, to lugnet.general, lugnet.off-topic.fun)

(...) Yeah, it was a pretty sad arguement. And you all are right, that's exactly why it's going offline. But that girl does have one fine booty. e. (22 years ago, 2-Feb-03, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

Re: Geekshelf is going to disappear soon

(...) Is this a joke? Yes, you made me look. The rest is here: (URL) that one image "cindy" is identical to one on geekshelf. And it is a pity, this IS probably why geekshelf is going offline. -- Hop-Frog (22 years ago, 2-Feb-03, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

Re: Geekshelf is going to disappear soon

(...) IMO, this may be exactly why Geekshelf is folding. I truly regret the loss, but for my own selfish purposes. I have an account (which I'm disabling in chunks), and have used it in moderation, and with respect to the TOS. There is stuff on (...) (22 years ago, 1-Feb-03, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

-I once ingested a piece of ABS.- ¯¯¯...¯¯¯ <No! it was *NOT* intentional!> I was young… And the piece looked particularly chewy….   Re: K-wing construction pics

My Feisar anti-gravity racing craft MOC (based on the game Wipeout) had suffered greatly multiple times due to my own clumsiness. I can only imagine what my clumsiness has in store for the skyscraper I'm building. O_o (22 years ago, 31-Jan-03, to lugnet.off-topic.fun, lugnet.space)
